Mirror, Mirror On The Wall

The handblown glass and brass chandelier which reflects in the ornate gold mirror sitting on the mantle in the diningroom of the Glenmore Mansion, in Jefferson City, Tennessee, is the subject of this painting. Light from the front windows illuminates the crystal drops, floral shapes, and brass highlights as spirits of the past appear in, and out, of the mirror.

The Mansion is reported to be haunted by a ghostly woman. Is this painting depicting fact.....or fiction?
