Seaside Rendezvous

In the tradition of all Kathryn Rutherford Spirit Paintings that exhibit transparent images of fantasy or fiction, a little girl gazes out to sea and envisions all that could be.

Note from the artist: Truth be told, I photographed my daughter, Tania, at age four on the beach of Lake Erie, in the Great Lakes, where I grew up in Canada and where she spent her summers. I didn't know what I would do with all the photographs I took that day but this image turned out to be perfect inspiration for her to have a "Seaside Rendezvous".
